We are about halfway through the second season of The Life Cycle podcast, can you believe it? To us, it feels like this season has been flying by.

So far, John and Eva have taken us on a ride starting in ancient London Rome, all the way to the idea of ‘quiet’ and ‘loud’ aliens, to what the future of alcohol might have in store for us. The past 4 episodes have been contextual, using a historical lens to understand where we have been. The second half of season 2 will build upon the first half, taking us forward, into the future and its many possibilities.

But before we jump into the future of AI, cloning, quantum, and cosmic hitchhiking, John and Eva would like to offer you an interlude (a palate cleanser if you will). This is where episode 5 “The Paperclip Interlude”, a short sci-fi story written by John himself, comes in. The story, which is narrated by Eva Kelley, is a wild ride that involves Klang Games itself. We think it’s the perfect way to join the two parts of the season together.
